The intervention rehabilitates an existing house in Nevogilde, preserving its architectural identity and the construction elements that characterize the surrounding urban fabric. Inside, the reorganization of spaces replaces the original compartmentalization with a more fluid layout, centered around a new atrium and a solid timber staircase that connects and illuminate the diferent floors.

In the back part of the lot, the relationship between the house and the garden is strengthened through the restoration of the façade and the creation of new outdoor spaces, while the former garage is expanded and transformed into a new residential volume.

The project bridges the existing structure with new construction, reconciling the preservation of the original architectural language with modern requirements for comfort and functionality. The ensemble is enhanced through a more direct interplay between architecture, light, and the exterior space, while maintaining the scale and character of the site.
