Founded in 1926, Casa Januário is a fine grocery store, being a reference in traditional commerce in the city of Porto.
In the store, the traditional wooden storefronts are restored, having as inspiration the original façade, through old photographs. This replaces the anodized aluminum storefronts dating from the 1970s. The interior of the store, because of the recent intervention, does not undergo major changes.
Later on the upper floors of the warehouse and offices, because they are already deactivated, will give place to a local accommodation.
